I have two cards to share with you today which both feature the adorable A Little Birdie Stamp Set combined with the Spring Birdhouses Stamp Set. For my first card, I created a fun little box card using the Scallop Box Card Die Set for my box base.
I stamped all of my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I then used their coordinating die sets to cut them out.
Copic Colors Used: Teals: G000, BG23, BG18; White: 0, C00, C1, C3; Gray: 0, W00, W1, W3; Greens: G40, YG06, G43, G46
I adhered all of my images to the inside of my card using some liquid adhesive. For the “flying” birds, I attached them with clear strips of acetate that I had cut using a pair of scissors. Lastly, I heat embossed my sentiment to the front strip of my card with some fine detail white embossing powder.
I created a mini slimline card (6.25″ x 3.75″) for my second project. This time, I used some Pinkfresh Studios blue inks to blend my background sky. Once again, I colored all of my images with Copic Markers before using their coordinating die sets to cut them out. All of my images were adhered to my card base using 3D foam adhesive tape for a pop of dimension.
