My card today features the new Being a Grandparent is the Best Stamp Set. I combined this set with both the A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics along with the fun Sunny Rays Stencil.

I used the Sunny Rays Stencil to create my sunny background. I first blended the rays of my stencil with some Carved Pumpkin, Scattered Straw, and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks. I removed the stencil and then blended the rest of my sky with some Scattered Straw and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks.

For my sand, I simply used the new Sand, Surf, & Sky Paper Pad and die cut it with the wavy die from the newly released Under the Sea Die-namics.

All of my images were stamped onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored with Copic Markers, and cut out using the coordinating Being a Grandparent is the Best Die-namics. For the grandfather’s shirt, I used the two hibiscus stamps that are included in the set and stamped them onto a second shirt that I had stamped onto a Neenah Solar White 80lb piece of card stock. I then fussy cut this shirt, colored it, and then glued it on top of the shirt of my grandfather’s first stamped image so that it looked like he was wearing it.
