Spellbinders | Stampendous Hugs Collection

Hello friends! Have you checked out the new and adorable Stampendous Hugs Collection featured at Spellbinders? I have a handful of fun, easy projects to share with you today featuring the new Stampendous Bear Hugs Etched Dies Set.

Products Used On All of My Projects:

For my first card, I die cut all of my images using the Bear Hugs and Stampendous Hugs Accessories Etched Dies from some Spellbinders card stock. For my bears, I had used some Snowdrift Card Stock and lightly blended them with some Lost Shadow Distress Oxide Ink for a slight amount of shading.

I used some 3D foam adhesive squares to adhere my bears to my card base that I had layered with a piece of Waterfall Card Stock. This card is super fun because my message slides easily out of the envelope for reading.

For my second project, I die cut a group of baby bears with momma bear. I used a variety of cream, beige, and gray card stock colors and once again used some Distress Oxide Inks to add some shading. This card was super easy to put together and not much instruction is needed because the pieces are so simple to assemble.

For my last project, I created a duo of upright cards that open up to reveal an inner message on the bear’s stomach. This designs is super easy. Basically, once you decorate the front of your bear image, you will simply need to die cut another bear silhouette (no need to decorate this one), and score it halfway through the paws and along the bear’s neck at the same spot. You will fold the tips of the paws forward and the neck backward. Add glue to these parts and adhere this piece to the main bear and you will have a folding upright bear card.
