Hello crafty friends! Welcome to the Altenew July 2023 Stamps, Dies, Inks, Letterpress Plates and More Release Blog Hop!

For my first project, I combined the gorgeous new Sketched Florals Collection along with the stunning Dotted Waves Stencil. I absolutely LOVE this stencil! To create my card, I first trimmed a piece of Kraft Card Stock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and lightly blended it with some pink Distress Oxide Inks. Next, I trimmed this piece down to 3.75″ x 5″ to remove any harsh ink stains on the sides of my card stock and used the Dotted Waves Stencil along with some White Embossing Paste to add some gorgeous texture to my card. Once this was dry, I layered this piece with some white and light pink card stock pieces to create a top-folding A2 (4.25″ x 5.5″) vertical card.

Lastly, I added my florals (using the Sketched Floral Stamp + Die Set) with some 3D foam adhesive squares for added dimension.

Altenew Ink Colors Used:

• Pinks: Pinkalicious, Rubellite, Pink Pearl
• Beige Leafy Stems: Pink Sand
• Greens: Jade, Eucalyptus

For my second project, I combined the new Wooden Rowboat Die Set along with the Pond Flowers Die Set and Boat Adventures Stamp Set. I die cut my boat from a variety of brown and Kraft colored card stock pieces and then lightly shaded them with some Gathered Twigs and Ground Espresso Distress Inks to give them some depth.

For my final projects, I created six different cards featuring the new Dainty Flowers Collection. The first three (shown above) feature simple cards with the images stamped, colored, and die cut. For my background, I simply used the new Color Blobs Stencil along with a variety of Altenew Inks to create my cards. If you look at the photo below, I have three other options that are even more simple. All I did was ink blend one of the Color Blobs and then stamp my image on top of my stenciled portion with some Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
