Hello crafty friends! Welcome to the Waffle Flower Crafts Grips Mats Launch Party! Come join me on Instagram for a GIVEAWAY to win a 4.25″ x 5.5″ Grip Mat of your own! If you aren’t sure what these Grip Mats are, you can watch the intro video HERE. This amazing mat allows you to place your paper and/or stencils down without using tape! Not only does it help hold your crafting items in place, but it also allows you to keep your fingers ink-free when ink blending! (A win-win in my opinion lol).

Click the button below to check out all of the Grip Mat options. There is even one that fits perfectly inside of your MISTI so that you don’t have to use the magnet!
I was kindly sent the 8.5″ x 8.5″ Grip Mat to use for my projects today. A smaller size would have worked, but I love having the most room possible to place my paper and stencils. I did all of my ink-blending, shading, and stenciling on my Grip Mat today for a clean and easy process.

I used the Grip Mat to add ink blending to all of my die cuts today. For my bees, beehive, hexagon shapes, background stencil, and inner flower pieces, I used some Wild Honey Distress Ink, for all of my greens (leaves, flower stems and grass) I used some Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. I also used some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide for my blue inked backgrounds.
List of products used on my projects today:
- 8.5″ x 8.5″ Grip Mat
- Happy Bee Die Set
- Happy Bee Day Combo
- Outlined Hexagon Dies
- Sweet Daisy Die
- Hexagon Layering Stencil Duo
- Cutline Dies (for my grassy hill)

I love how my Grip Mat was able to “hold” onto my paper pieces as I worked, making the process of adding ink to my smaller pieces SO much easier.

Head on over and leave a comment on my Instagram Post for a chance to win a 4.25″ x 5.5″ Grip Mat! Enter by 7/30/23 to win!
