I have three cards to share with you today featuring products from this gorgeous new release. My first card showcases the new Wood Cookie Die Set combined with the Rainforest Leaves Die Set. I absolutely LOVE the ladybugs in the Wood Cookie Set. They add so much interest to the wooden circle slice.

I used Altenew’s Frosted Foliage Inks to stamp my leaves from the Rainforest Leaves Set as well as a variety of Altenew card stock colors for my wood cookie. To add some depth to my ladybugs, I added another layer of wings that I had die cut from some heavy duty vellum. I then folded the wings upward and attached them to the back of the ladybug to look like it was ready to take off or had just landed.

I also added some more texture to my card by spattering the wood cookie with some diluted Copic Opaque White Paint prior to adhering the piece to my card. I also added some diluted black watercolor in spatters to my card base before I attached my die cuts to the front of my card.

For my second project, I created a tropical-themed card featuring both the new Caribbean Dreams Die Set along with the Caribbean Life Layering Stencil Set.

For my background sky, I lightly blended some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. I used the Altenew Cerulean Skies Ink Set to created my ocean as well as some Cloud White Pigment Ink (which is absolutely amazing!).

I die cut my seagulls from some light gray card stock and then lightly blended their wings with some Industrial Diamond Ink from the Rock Collection Crisp Dye Ink Mini Cube Set.

For my last project, I used the new Cupped Flowers Layering Stamp Set and coordinating dies. For their colors, I used inks from both the Glacier Caves and Green Meadows Mini Ink Cube Sets.

I used the same blue inks to lightly blend some color to my background and stamped my sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Lastly, I added some enamel dots from the Glacier Caves Enamel Dots.
