Hello crafty friends! The MFT August 2023 Release will be available tomorrow, August 15th, at 10 AM EDT! My card today showcases the brand new Delightful Halloween Stamp Set illustrated by Jenoblade.

To start, I first created my background by blending a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb card stock with some purple Distress Oxide Inks (I used Wilted Violet and Milled Lavender). I then used some Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink around the outer edges of my ink blending to add some dark contrast, therefore creating a “spooky” sky. I decided to add a little bit of texture to my background by first spattering it with some water using a small round paintbrush and then adding some white spatters using some diluted Copic Opaque White Paint.

I then stamped my sentiment on this ink blended piece with black ink and layered it on top of a rectangular piece of white card stock that I had die cut using one of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics Set 2. Next, I stamped all of my images onto another piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and colored them with Copic Markers. I then used the coordinating Delightful Halloween Die-namics to cut them out.

Next, I layered my ink-blended piece onto a piece of purple patterned paper from the new MSTN Spooky Season Paper Pad. Lastly, I added my images with some 3D foam adhesive squares to allow my them to pop from my card base and be the focus of my card.
