My card today features both the adorable Ghost Shaker Die Set along with the Halloween Mug Addition Dies from the new PPP August 2023 Release.

To create my ghost, I first die cut my pieces from both white and black card stock. I adhered the eyes and the mouth easily with some liquid adhesive and used a pink Copic Marker (R21) to add some rosy cheeks. I then die cut both the hat and broom pieces using the Halloween Mug Addition Dies. Too add a little more detail to my images, I then added some white accents using a Sakura White Gelly Roll Pen size 10.

I then created my card background by blending some Broken China, Uncharted Mariner, and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks onto a 4.25″ x 5.5″ piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I started with my lightest color (Broken China) as a circular blend in the center and worked my way out toward my darkest color around the edges. Once finished, I trimmed this piece down to 4″ x 5.25″ and then added some “clouds” using some Altenew Cloud White Ink (this ink is AMAZING) and a mini blending brush from Spellbinders. Lastly, I added my images with some 3D foam adhesive squares for extra dimension and glued the word “boo” that I had cut from white card stock. This cute little sentiment is included in the Ghost Shaker Die Set.
