Hello friends! I am thrilled to introduce the upcoming MFT Christmas Poinsettias Card Kit! This gorgeous kit will be available tomorrow, September 5th, at 10 AM EDT.
I have two cards to share with you today using items from this beautiful collection. I have listed all of the upcoming products as well as previously released products that I used below for you to view at your convenience.
- Winter Poinsettias Die-namics (included in kit)
- Christmas Wishes Stamp Set (included in kit)
- Christmas Wishes Die-namics (kit add-on item)
- Pressed Poinsettias Stamp Set (kit add-on item)
- Classic Rectangle Frames Die-namics (previously released)

For my first card, I created a shaker card with some bold white poinsettias. I first stamped my sentiment onto a piece of 4.25″ x .5.5″ Kraft Card Stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
** Tip: If you are going to use the frames and/or make a shaker card, make sure that you place your frame onto your card base prior to stamping so that you know exactly where you want to line up your sentiment. **
I then die cut my frame 6x’s from white card stock and glued 5 of them together with liquid adhesive in order to make my frame deep enough to hold my shaker embellishments. Once adhered together, I then adhered them to my base with some more liquid adhesive and added my embellishments. (For my card today, I used some Studio Katia Ice Sparkle Crystals).

Once my crystals were added, I then covered the entire frame with a piece of clear acetate and added my last frame layer on top for a nice clean look. Next, I die cut my flowers and foliage with the Winter Poinsettias Die-namics using a mix of Smooth White and Jalapeño Card Stock as well as some heavyweight translucent vellum.

For the centers of my poinsettias, I decided to add some Gold Mix Color Essentials Gems from Spellbinders.

For my second card, I used a mix of Kraft, Smooth White, Wild Cherry, and Red Hot Card Stock pieces. I used the Winter Poinsettia Die-namics to die cut my flowers and foliage. I also used the Pressed Poinsettias Stamp Set to add a stamped foliage image with some white ink on the bottom left corner of my Kraft panel.

Before adding my flowers, I stamped my sentiment in the center of my card base with some black ink. I then added my flowers and foliage with some liquid adhesive. To finish my card, I added some half pearl pieces for some extra interest to the front of my card.

I once again used the Gold Mix Color Essentials Gems in the centers of my poinsettias to add some shine and dimension.
