I have two projects to share with you today featuring items from this amazing new release! In both projects, I used the new Cheerful Panda Moments Stamp Set and coordinating dies. I first stamped my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored them with Copic Markers.
Copic Colors Used:
- Pandas: 0, W00, W1, W3, W8
- Turqoise: BG11, BG13, BG49
- Dark Teal: BG70, BG72, BG75, BG78
- Light Teal/Greens: G00, BG34, BG18
For my card base, I used the new and gorgeous Slimline Nested Stitched Die Set. I first blended a 8.25″ x 3.5″ piece of smooth white card stock with some Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink working my way from the top of the card stock and fading out to white near the bottom. For this process, I used some ink blending tools from Scrapbook.com. I then die cut it with the smaller of the two nested slimline dies and spattered it lightly with some diluted Copic Opaque White Paint.
I then layered this with some Teal Topaz Card Stock that I had die cut with the larger of the two slimline dies. Next, I added my images with some 3D foam adhesive squares to give them a pop of dimension. Lastly, I die cut my Hooray sentiment using the new Congrats & Hooray Die Set.
I used the same set adorable panda set for my second card. This time, I created an A2 sized card. I first stamped the one particular panda twice, lightly added some shading with some warm gray Copic markers (colors listed above) and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out. For my background, I lightly blended some Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink onto a piece of white card stock and then layered it with black, pink, and white card stock pieces.
To finish my card, I stamped my sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then adhered my images with some more 3D foam adhesive squares.
