Hello crafty friends! Hello Bluebird will be launching their September Release on Friday, September 29th at 7:00PM MST. My card today features the super cute new Ghostly Gift Card Die Set. I combined this set with some Distress Inks to make a cute and “spooky” Halloween/fall gift card.

For my background, I first cut a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock to 4″ x 6.75″ and blended it with some Villainous Potion, Seedless Preserves, Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, and Black Soot Distress Inks. I started with my dark purple at the top of my panel and worked my way down to my orange color. I then took my Black Soot and blended a dark shadow area around the edges of my card stock. Next, I added both some water spatters as well as some diluted Copic Opaque White Paint to my blending for some added texture.

I then die cut my ghost from some white card stock and added some subtle shading around him with some Lost Shadow Distress Oxide Ink. I used a pink Copic Marker to add some blush to his cheeks and placed a small panel of black card stock behind his eyes and mouth to allow them to really show. Next, I adhered my ghost to my card base with some 3D foam adhesive squares and then placed my gift card into his hands. Lastly, I added the word “boo” to the gift card with some liquid adhesive and placed a few bats along the perimeter. Super fun and easy!
