Hello friends! I am excited to introduce the new and adorable Gingerbread Greetings Card Kit from MFT Stamps! This kit will be available tomorrow, Tuesday, October 10th, at 10 a.m. EDT.

My card today features items from this kit combined with the beautiful Sweet Summer Color Blends Paper Pad, and Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics.

To start my card, I trimmed a piece of the Sweet Summer Color Blends Paper Pad to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and used the Snowfall Stencil along with some Modeling Paste to add some dimensional snow to my background. I set this piece aside to dry and then worked on assembling my gingerbread house.

I cut the main pieces of my house from some Kraft Card Stock and added some texture to them by quickly adding dots with some light brown Copic Markers. I used E40, E43, and E44 to add these dots, but you can choose whatever brown colors you like (most should work well with Kraft Card Stock!). I then assembled the main parts of my house using 3d foam adhesive squares to give my house some dimension. I used liquid adhesive to add my windows, door, and colorful dots around the snow on the roof.

Once I die cut my snow drift using the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics, I then stamped my sentiment using my MISTI with some Memento Tuxedo Black Ink prior to adhering my snow to my card base. Once done, I placed my snow on my card base with some more 3D foam adhesive tape and then adhered the rest of my die cut images. Super easy and fun!
