MFT Stamps | YUZU Merry Moose

November 2, 2023

Hello crafty friends! I have another card to share with you today featuring items from the newest MFT Release. My card today showcases the super adorable YUZU Merry Moose Stamp Set and coordinating Merry Moose Die-namics.

To start my card, I first created my fire lit background using some Distress Inks (Mustard Seed, Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Uncharted Mariner, and Black Soot) and a 3.75″ x 5″ piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I started with my yellow color first in the lower left center of my card and blended a small circle. I then used my Tumbled Glass Ink to blend some light blue around this yellow circle, trying not to overlap too much, otherwise I would create a greenish hue instead. I then repeated the process and blended some Broken China around this lighter blue circle of ink. This time, I did overlap my inks since the colors would blend well and create a better transition. Following that, I used the Uncharted Mariner Ink and blended the rest of my card stock to cover any white spots. Lastly, I added some Black Soot around the edges to make even more contrast.

All of my images were stamped onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored with Copies, and cut out with the coordinating dies. I ended up adding some winter trees that I had die cut from white card stock. I also used the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics to add a layer of snow.

  • Moose: E41, E42, E43, E44, E47
  • Wood: E31, E23, E25, E29

Beautiful snowy scene! I can’t get over Mr. Moose’s expression! Maybe there was a bit pop from the fire or he lost a marshmallow. Either way, he’s adorable! Your background is fabulous, too!

Lol! I love that possible explanation about his expression, and I can perfectly see that happening! 😁 Thank you for your sweet comments, my friend! 🤗❤️
