Hello friends! Have you seen the gorgeous large round ink blending brushes from The Stamps of Life? I was gifted a set to try and I have to say that I really love them! The surface area on these brushes are a lot larger than most other brushes and I was expected to see ink-streaking on my paper because of this. However, I was pleasantly surprised that they didn’t streak at all. In fact, I would highly suggest these brushes for beginning ink blending or for those of you who feel that you have a heavy-hand when it comes to using traditional smaller-sized ink brushes. They would also make the perfect gift for a crafty friend!
These brushes are also easy to clean with gentle dish soap, warm water, and air drying. Plus, they come with their own plastic storage case for each separate brush. If you want to see these brushes in action, check out my Instagram Reel that shows you how easy they are to use with both stenciling or just basic ink blending.
The larger surface area of these brushes helps to distribute the pressure you put onto your card stock which also helps to control the amount of ink placed onto your card stock. I found these brushes very easy to control because of this feature.
I used these brushes on all of my projects today. Every product, ink color, and link can be found at the bottom of this post (no affiliate links used.)
I did not use any of the coordinating die sets on my projects today since I don’t own all of them and used my Brother Scan N Cut instead. However, each stamp set does have a coordinating die set that I listed in the links below if you are interested.
For my final project, I used one of the cute elves from the elves2stamp Stamp Set and ink-blended my background using the large round blue ink blender and some Sky Ink.
