I first stamped my images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock using my MISTI and some Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Next, I used Copic Markers to color them in (colors listed below) and the coordinating Easter Bunnies Die Set to cut them out.
- Bunny: 0, W00, W1, W3, W5
- Pinks: RV02, RV81, RV83
- Purples: V01, V12, V15
I then used the Spellbinders Essential Arches Die Set to die cut a few layers of arches from some Snowdrift, Fruit Punch, and Pink Sand Card Stock. I lightly blended a small area of Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide Ink onto my top white layer and then added some spatters of both diluted Copic Opaque White Paint as well as some dots from a light pink/red Copic Marker (R22). I like doing this technique to give my backgrounds some simple added texture and interest.
I then stamped my sentiment with more black ink and adhered all of my arch layers together with some double-sided adhesive. To give my images some extra dimension, I attached them to my card front with some 3D foam adhesive squares.
Lastly, I added a top-folding layer to the back of my card by trimming a piece of white card stock to 5″ x 11″ and scoring it at 5.5″ on the 11″ side. I then used the largest of the Essential Arches Die to die cut my base piece, making sure to leave the very top of the die above the fold of my card stock, so that when die cut my card base would still have a fold. Once finished, this card fits perfectly into a standard A2 sized envelope for mailing.
I hope you enjoyed my card today! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by! Wishing you all a lovely day!
