Simon Says Stamp | Be Bold Collection

Hello friends! Simon Says Stamp has just dropped their brand new BE BOLD COLLECTION! I have a super simple but colorful card to share with you today that features the new CZ Design Scripty Hugs Wafer Dies.

To start my card, I first trimmed a .5″ strip of each colored card stock twice. I then cut a piece of card stock to 4″ x 5.25″ and layered these strips diagonally using double sided adhesive tape. Once each piece was attached, I next cut off the excess strips on one side with a pair of scissors and then used my paper trimmer to trim off the excess on the other three sides. Once finished, I then adhered this piece to a standard A2 sized top-folding card base.

Next, I die cut my shadow die from my hugs sentiment from a piece of heavy duty vellum and then my sentiment itself from some white card stock and adhered them together with liquid adhesive. I attached my sentiment to my card front and then added a second sentiment from the Caring Thoughts Stamp Set that I had heat embossed onto a strip of black card stock. Super simple and voila!
