MFT Stamps | You Are Not Alone Card Kit Preview

April 1, 2024

Hello friends! I’d like to introduce the latest card kit from MFT Stamps. The You Are Not Alone Card Kit is perfect for sending cards to those who are struggling or to send a card to someone who has helped you through times when you’ve been struggling.

I love the florals in this kit. They are dainty and the perfect size without being overbearing and fit the theme perfectly. I created two cards to share with you today to give you some ideas on how you can use this kit. The sentiment set takes out all of the guess work on what to say. I don’t know about you, but I struggle with knowing what to say on cards at times. I find it as such a relief when I can just stamp what I want to say and go from there.

For my first card, I used the Soft Stripes Paper Pad (that comes with the kit) to layer on top of a piece of Caribbean Sea Card Stock (which also comes with the kit). I then layered it with a 3.5″ x 4.75″ piece of Porcelain White Card Stock as well as a slightly smaller piece that I had ink-blended with some Caribbean Sea and Summer Splash MFT Premium Dye Inks. I then die cut my flowers using the Show of Support Die-namics (included in kit) and lastly heat embossed my sentiment from the You Are Not Alone Stamp Set (included in kit) with some clear VersaMark Ink and Super Fine Detail White Embossing Powder onto a piece of Black Licorice Card Stock. I used the You Are Not Alone Die-namics (included in kit) to cut it out.

For my second card, I once again used items that are all included in the kit. This time, instead of Caribbean Sea Card Stock, I used a piece of Lemon Drop (included in the kit) for my background. I added a piece of Translucent Vellum (also included in the kit) to place perfectly on top of my patterned paper to help soften it a bit.

For my background ink blending, I used some MFT Lemon Drop Premium Dye Ink. This time I stamped my sentiment with black ink onto a sheet of white card stock before cutting it out.

Great idea for a card kit and two gorgeous examples. I love the soft blues on the first card and the bright and happy colors in the second. Well done, my friend!
