MFT Stamps | Jenoblade April 2024 Release Preview

April 15, 2024

Hello crafty friends! It’s always a happy day for me when Jenoblade creates new stamp sets. I absolutely love coloring all of her sweet illustrations and I know that many of you do too! I’m happy to announce that MFT Stamps will be releasing five brand new Jenoblade-drawn stamp sets tomorrow, April 16th, at 10 am EDT!

My first card features the new Ocean-Sized Hugs Stamp Set. I created a shaker card by combining this set with the previously released Classic Rectangle Frames Die-namics. I used the largest of the frame dies to die cut a rectangular frame six times from some white card stock. I then glued five of the frames together to form a frame with some depth that could hold my shaker embellishments.

Prior to adhering my frame to my card base, I first stamped my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with some Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I used Copic Sketch Markers to color my images and the coordinating Ocean-Sized Hugs Die-namics to cut them out.

For my background, I blended a mix of Grape Jelly, Summer Splash, and Sno Cone Premium Dye Inks and spattered them with some water. After using a paper towel to blot it dry, I then stamped my sentiment into the top right corner of my card with black Ink. I added my images and then adhered my frame with to my base with liquid adhesive. I added some 3mm sparkling sequins inside of my frame and then glued a piece of clear acetate on top of my frame and then adhered my final frame onto of the acetate for a clean look.

For my second card, I used the cute little frogs from the new Hoppin’ Good Time Stamp Set. I once again colored them with Copic Markers and used the coordinating Hoppin’ Good Times Die-namics to cut them out.

I used some Caribbean Sea Card Stock for my card base and layered it with a scalloped rectangular piece that I had cut using the large rectangle die from the Blueprints 27 Die-namics. For my background, I blended some MFT Caribbean Sea, Summer Splash, and Sno Cone Premium Dye Inks.
