Hello crafty friends! I have a floral card to share with you today that features the new Glimmering Peonies Glimmer Hot Foil Plate from Spellbinders. This gorgeous hot foil plate also has a bundle deal that includes the coordinating stencils which I used on my card today. They are currently sold out at Spellbinders, but can be found on some other craft stores in the links at the bottom of this post.

To start my card, I first hot foiled my glimmering peonies onto a 4.5″ x 6.25″ piece of white card stock and the Glimmer Hot Foil System. I used the Spellbinders Hot Foil Roll in Pewter to hot foil my image. I then used the coordinating Glimmering Peonies Stencils to ink blend my flowers.

I used a variety of Pinkfresh Inks to do this and listed all of the colors that I used for your reference in the links below. Once I was finished with my ink blending, I then used a dark red and green Faber-Castell colored pencil to add a bit more shading to both my leaves and petals. To make my coloring a little bit softer, I also used a blending pencil to soften my strokes.

Next, I diluted some Winsor and Newton Permanent White Gouache and added some white spatters to my card front. I also diluted some gold watercolor ink to add some darker spatters as well.

Lastly, I hot foiled my sentiment from Yana’s Special Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plates onto a piece of black card stock and adhered it to my card front.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed my card today!
