Hello crafty friends! The MFT Stamps You Give Me Butterflies Card Kit is now available! You can either purchase the items separately or buy the kit at a limited time bundle deal. Click HERE to see all of the new products!
My card today features the new Breakthrough Butterflies Die-namics. To get my individual butterflies, I simply die cut my butterfly strip onto a piece of white card stock. I then used a pair of scissors to fussy cut around the outline of the butterfly. It’s actually rather easy because when you run this die through your die cutting machine, it leaves an embossed edge around each butterfly that is simple to follow along with your scissors in order to get the proper cut.

I then adhered each butterfly onto a purple ink-blended background with a drop of liquid adhesive on the underbelly of the butterfly, allowing me to prop up the wings to create a 3D effect. For my background, I blended a mix of Boysenberry, Grape Jelly, and Grapesicle MFT Premium Dye Inks.

Lastly, I heat embossed my sentiment from the You Give Me Butterflies Stamp Set onto a strip of black card stock with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder and cut it out with the coordinating You Give Me Butterflies Die-namics.
