MFT Stamps | May Release Countdown – Three Days and Counting!

Hello crafty friends! I am so happy to be able to kick off the MFT Stamps May 2024 Release Countdown with some adorable new stamp sets illustrated by Jenoblade. There are three new sets that will be available this coming Tuesday, May 28th at 10 AM EDT, and my post today features two of the new sets.

For both of my cards today, I stamped my images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a sheet of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used Copic Markers to color everything and the coordinating die-namics to cut them out. I have listed all of the Copic colors and background inks that I used below.

My first card features the new Fintastic Friends Stamp Set. For my background, I blended a mix of Shaded Lilac, Mermaid Lagoon, and Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink and spattered it with some water using a small round paint brush to add some water texture. After blotting the water dry with a clean paper towel, I then added some diluted Wilted Violet Distress Ink Spatters and diluted Copic Opaque White Paint. I also added a light blend of Antique Linen Distress Oxide Ink on the bottom portion of my card to resemble sand. I added some brown dots with a few Copic Markers (any brown would work) to give some added texture.
