My card today features the new Summertime Vacay Die Set which is the June 2024 Large Die of the Month. My card was super easy to make and was done by die cutting all of the pieces from some colored card stock (I used a variety of Spellbinders card stock). I added some shading to the teal pieces of card stock with some Peacock Feathers Distress Ink and some shading to the sand portion with some Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide Ink.

To add some texture to my sand/island area, I used a few brown Copic Markers and a white Gelly Roll Pen to add some dots. I also added texture to my water by splattering it with some water using a round paint brush and blotting it dry with a clean paper towel.

For my sky, I blended a 4″ x 5.25″ piece of smooth white card stock with some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. I heat embossed my sentiment with some Fine Detail White Embossing Powder, allowing my sentiment to pop against the dark teal card stock.
