I’ve created three projects to share with you today. They all feature the gorgeous new Modern Botanicals Set. I used the Modern Botanicals Rubber Cling Stamp for my cards, but if you prefer, you can also use the Modern Botanicals Press Plate to get the same images onto your card.

I used Copic Markers to color all of my florals, but this set also has a coordinating stencil set if you prefer to save time and take away the hassle of coloring. For me personally, I find coloring relaxing, and I had some extra time to color my flowers for my cards today. However, if I was in a pinch or didn’t feel like coloring, the Modern Botanicals Stencil Set would be perfect to add colors to your florals without much fuss.

For my card above, I used Copic Markers to color my images. For an easy cut, I then used the coordinating Modern Botanicals Die Set to cut them out. To give some subtle texture to my background, I cut .25″ strips from white card stock and layered them diagonally on my 4.25″ x 5.5″ background panel. I then added an ink blended panel (I used Pinkfresh Summer Shower Ink) beneath a decorative rectangular frame from the new Fancy Rectangle Frames Die Set.

Copic Markers Used:

• Pinks: RV00, RV52, RV55, RV69
• Greens: G40, G43, G46, G99
• Blues: B000, B01, B02, B05

For my second card, I combined the Modern Botanicals Set with the new Dotted fancy Frames Die Set. This time, I used a blend of Ballet Slippers, Coral Reef, and Raspberry Bliss Inks on my light peach card stock background. I also added my sentiment using the HELLO die set that comes in the Scripted Greetings Die Set.

Copic Colors Used:

• Greens: G000, BG34, BG18
• Peachy Pink Flowers: R000, R11, R32, R83, RV66

I combined the Modern Botanicals and Dotted Fancy Frames again for my last card. I also used a similar ink blend for my background with Raspberry Bliss, Passion Fruit, and Coral Reef Inks. I used the same colors for my flowers as my card above. For my background, I added a textured panel for some added interest by die cutting some white card stock with the previously released Elongated Lattice Die Set.
