If you’re new to rubber stamping, it’s actually quite easy to do if you have some type of stamping tool (I used my MISTI) and a clear mounting stamp.

My card today features the new Trixi & Cuddles Stamp. I used my MISTI and clear mounting stamp to stamp my image onto a 4.25″ x 5.5″ piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I then stamped my image again onto a piece of Gina K. Designs Masking Magic Sheets so that I could fussy cut a mask to place over my image when adding ink to my background.

After I added my mask, I then ink blended my background with some Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink. I then added some white spatters of diluted Copic Opaque White Paint to resemble snow. After about a minute, I removed my mask and allowed my ink spatters to dry. This only takes a few minutes, and once they were dry, I then colored my images with Copic Markers. I finished my card by adding some “snow” on top of my colored image with a White Gelly Roll Pen.
