My cards today feature the gorgeous new Cheerful Blossoms Set. I absolutely love these clusters of florals and the coordinating stencils that go with them.

For both of my cards, I stamped my flowers with clear VersaMark Ink and then heat embossed them with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder. I then used the coordinating stencils and ink-blending brushes to lightly add my ink to each flower. I usually go for very bold colors, but I wanted to try something different and was happy with how they turned out.

Next, I blended my background with some Pinkfresh Ocean Breeze Ink and added a few layers of scalloped rectangle frames (stacked together and adhered with liquid adhesive) that I had die cut from white card stock using the Essentials: Stitched Scallop Rectangle Die Set. For my sentiment, I used the beautiful new Basic Sentiments Stamp Set and coordinating die set to add my sentiment.

For my second card, I used the same products as well as the previously released Essentials: Diagonal Stripes with Window Die Set. I die cut my diagonal stripes background from a piece of light blue card stock and then added a single scalloped rectangle frame around it once again using the Essentials: Stitched Scallop Rectangle Die Set.

Lastly, I adhered my flowers with foam adhesive dimensional tape as well as my sentiment that I had die cut from both vellum and teal card stock.
