Altenew/Lawn Fawn | Stampwheel 2.0 Collaboration and Instagram Hop + GIVEAWAY!

December 17, 2024

Hello friends! Welcome to the Altenew/Lawn Fawn Stampwheel 2.0 Collaboration! I invite you to come hop along with us on Instagram for a chance to win up to $400 total in prizes!

I created two Christmas cards to share with you today featuring some adorable snowmen from Lawn Fawn. I colored one with Copic Markers and the other one I colored using Altenew Inks and the coordinating Lawn Fawn Frosty Friends Stencils. I used the new and improved Altenew Stampwheel 2.0 to easily assist me in the process and had a lot of fun mixing products from both companies.

Both of my cards feature the adorable Frost Friends and Frosty Friends Add-On Stamp set from Lawn Fawn. For my first card, I used the Stampwheel 2.0 to help me stamp my images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock.

Once I was finished stamping, I then colored my images with Copic Markers and set them aside. I then used the gorgeous Lawn Fawn Snowy Sky Stencil along with Altenew White Embossing Paste and stenciled a snowy sky onto a piece of beige/kraft card stock. I also used the sticky mat on the Stampwheel 2.0 to create some striped patterned paper for my background using the Lawn Fawn Peppermint Stripes Stencil along with some white card stock and some red Altenew Heart Beat Fresh Dye Ink.

I assembled my card together using both liquid adhesive and double-sided tape where needed. I added some snow drifts using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders Die Set as well as a gorgeous stitched rectangle frame from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Frames Die Set.

  • Reds: R14, R46, R59, R89
  • White: 0, C00, C1, C3
  • Cheeks: R21, RV00

For my second card, I used the same exact stamp sets as the first. However, this time, I wanted to show you what it looked like using the coordinating stencils that are available for these sets for those of you who might be intimidated by coloring or may not have the time to color them. To spice it up at bit, I also made my card a shaker card.

I stamped my images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock using the handy Altenew Stampwheel 2.0. I then used my scissors to cut my card stock into smaller sections when using the stencils so that the stencils overlapped my card stock and could therefore stick well on the Stampwheel 2.0 sticky mat.

I then used some Altenew Inks (colors are in the links below) to color my images and used the same inks in my snowy ink-blended background. Once I was done ink-blending my images, I then cut them out using their coordinatind dies and assembled my card together. For accents, I also used the Lawn Fawn Spooky Forest Backdrop, Stitched Hillside Borders, and Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frames Die Sets to create some snowy trees, hills, and a gorgeous scalloped frame for my shake card.
