All of my images today were die cut except for my sentiment. I started by using the Embroidered Blooms Stencil Pack and blending the images with some Pinkfresh Ink onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. Next, I die cut these blended areas using the Embroidered Blooms Die. This die cuts everything out perfectly into the shape of a flower or leaf with beautfiul etching. Once I cut my pieces out, I then used my Pinkfresh blending brushes to add some subtle shading to my die cuts. Adding shading is not a necessary step, but I feel that it adds so much more dimension to your die cuts.

I assembled my flowers with some liquid adhesive and dimensional foam tape where desired and set them aside to work on my background. I used the goregous new Dashing Daisies Press Plate along with some Pinkfresh Rocky Slope Ink for my detailed background. All I can say about this plate is WOW! It really adds so much etched detail without being overwhelming. The nice thing is, the BetterPress plates work very well with Pinkfresh Inks, so if you own them, you have a lot of gorgeous color choices for your press plates. I went with a light gray so it wouldn’t take away from my florals too much. However, you could go with a bolder color and simply add a sentiment if you wanted.

I layered my background piece with a scalloped rectangle frame from the Essentials Stiched Scallop Rectangles Die Set. Next, I die cut my embroidery hoop using the new Embroidery Hoops Die Set. After assembling my florals on top of the embroidery hoop, I then added the word HI using some new alphabet dies that will be available in the release. How beautiful is that stitching on the letters?? Lastly, I heat embossed my sentiment that is part of the previously released Heart Smiles Stamp Set with coordinating dies.
