Hello friends! One of my favorite illustrators is Stacey Yacula, so it’s always such a treat when I get a chance to color any of her images. My card today features two of my favorite previously released rubber stamps from Purple Onion Designs.

I have always LOVED this Clarabelle Cow Stamp from Purple Onion Designs. I paired it with the gorgeous Farm Horizon Background Stamp to create a one-layered greeting card. To start, I first stamped my cow onto my card base and then stamped it again onto a sheet of Gina K Designs Masking Magic Sheets and used a sharp pair of scissors to cut it out. I then placed my masking piece over my cow and then stamped the background stamp. I made sure to use my MISTI along with the Purple Onion Designs Clear Mounting Stamp to stamp my images. I also stamped my farm horizon background onto my masking piece and then fussy cut my masking piece out to place over my farm background on my actual card.

Once the masking pieces were in place, I then blended and inky background using Seedless Preserves, Carved Pumpkin, and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Inks. I added some diluted white ink spatters with a small paint brush and then let everything dry before I removed my masking pieces. Lastly, I colored my images with Copic Markers and then stamped my sentiment at the bottom of my card with some more black ink.
Copic Colors Used:
- Browns on Cow: E44, E47
- White on Cow: 0, W00, W0, W1, W3
- Greens: G40, G43, G46, G99
- Barn: E41, E42, E44
- Clouds: R21, Y11, 0
Thanks so much for dropping by today! Wishing you all a lovely day!
