Hello crafty friends! I have a few projects to show you today that feature products from the new Bougie Birthday Collection from Spellbinders. This gorgeous collection was designed by Nina Boettcher and you can see it in its entirety HERE or through the links at the bottom of this post. My first project showcases the gorgeous Ganache Gateau Etched Die Set. I created a teal colored cake with macarons and a festive banner on top using various shades of teal/green card stock from Spellbinders. For the base of my cake, I first blended a mix of Salvaged Patina, Tumbled Glass, and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I then wet a medium sized round paint brush to lightly add some strokes to my ink blending to resemble frosting strokes.

Next, I created two gift cards using the super cute Treat Yourself Gift Card Holder Etched Die Set. I love the fun little pieces of confetti that you can create with this set. I also added some more macarons because I just thought that they were so festive and cute and really added to the birthday theme.

The main thing that I like about this gift card holder die set is that it doesn’t take very long to create. I can’t tell you how many times I have purchased a gift card for someone and then realize that I don’t have anything cute to put it in. This set is perfect because in under five minutes, you can throw together whatever themed gift card holder you want (you can even add pre-designed stickers on top of whatever colors you decide to use) and then add your gift card and go.

I hope you love this collection as much as I do! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
