Pinkfresh Studio | Classic Correspondence Hot Foiled Cards with Stenciled Ink Blending

February 22, 2025

Hello friends! I hope your weekend is off to a great start! I have two cards to share with you that feature the new Pinkfresh Studio Classic Correspondence Press Plate, Stencils, and coordinating dies. For those who aren’t familiar with press plates or prefer stamps instead, I have also included a link below for the matching clear stamps set that goes with this beautiful collection.

I also invite you to come check out the 25% OFF sale of all Pinkfresh Studio gems, pearls, and glitter drops! These gorgeous embellishments are perfect for adding bling to your cards! You can check out this sale HERE.

To start both cards, I first used some Glimmer Matte Foil along with the Classic Correspondence Press Plate and a sheet of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb Card Stock to hot foil my images. I then used the coordinating stencil set along with 1) Fresh Pear, 2) Grassy Knoll, 3)Olive, 4) Waterfall, and 5) Turquoise Pinkfresh Studio Inks to lightly brush some color onto my images. I then used the coordinating Classic Correspondence Die Set to cut them out.

For my card base, I used some Scrapbook.com Low Tack Mint Tape to outline a rectangular space in the center of my card base into which I blended some Turquoise, Waterfall, and Fresh Pear Inks. I then added some spatters of diluted Winsor & Newton Permanent White Gouache with a small round paint brush to give some added texture and interest. I also die cut some foliage from some green and light teal card stock pieces using the new Fresh Florals Die. Lastly, I hot foiled my sentiment into some black card stock with some opaque white foil.

I followed a similar process for my second card except that this time, I masked off a rectangular strip in the center of my card in which to add the same ink colors that I used in the background of my first card. I added some foliage pieces that I had left over from my first card and also used white foil to create my hot-foiled sentiment on black card stock.

For some added interest, I also added a small scalloped frame that I had die cut from white card stock and lightly blended the edges of it with some Fresh Pear Ink. All of my images were added to my card fronts with some dimensional foam tape to allow them to pop up from the card base.

Thanks so much for dropping by! I hope you enjoyed my cards with this beautiful set! I’d love to see what you create using any of these products, so make sure to tag me on Instagram if you decide to share your creations!
