Purple Onion Designs | “Spring is in the Air” Collection

Hello friends! I have two more cards to share with you using stamps from the new “Spring is in the Air” Collection from Purple Onion Designs. This entire collection (as well as the new Lakewood Collection) are still at 30% off the regular retail price until midnight tonight, July 10th, 2025.

My first card features the adorable Tofu’s Flamingo Floatie Stamp. I used my MISTI and clear mounting stamp to stamp my image onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then colored it with Copic Markers and fussy cut it with some scissors.

For my background, I masked off a horizontal rectangular strip where I used a pool water stencil (which has now been discontinued – but I have listed a similar one in the links at the bottom of this post) with Simon Says Stamp Tidepool Ink. I then stamped my sentiment from the new Summer Days Sentiments Stamp Set with black ink and adhered my image with 3D foam adhesive tape.

Copic Colors Used:

Pinks: RV02, R81, R83, R85, W3
Cat: 0, W00, W1, W3, W5
Yellows: Y13, Y15, V12
Teals: G000, G00, BG34, BG78
Teddy Bear: E41, E43, E47

For my second card, I used the adorable Party Pig Stamp. I can’t tell you how much I LOVE this cute little pig! I stamped him onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and then stamped him again on some masking paper. I then fussy cut my mask and placed it over his image along with the two balloons. Next, I stamped the fence in the background and then masked it as well so that I could ink blend a pink background with some Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink. I also added some Bundled Sage Distress Oxide Ink for my grass.
