Hello friends! I have three cards to share with you that feature some adorable new products from the North Pole Friends Collection designed for Spellbinders by Simon Hurley. I absolutely LOVE each set and had so much fun working on some Christmas cards in July.
CHECK OUT THIS ADORABLE COLLECTION HERE!
My first card showcases the adorable North Pole Sentiments Die Set. I used the snowman from the set and die cut each piece twice from some smooth white card stock. I used Copic markers to color each die cut piece on all of my cards today because I wanted to add some extra depth and shading that die cuts by themselves don’t always allow.
My second card features the new Polar Bear Pals Etched Dies Set. I added a bold ink-blended background using some Distress Inks (Faded Jeans, Mermaid Lagoon, Uncharted Mariner, and Black Soot). To create my moon, I die cut a circle from masking paper and placed it on my card stock before ink blending. After I was finished ink blending, I used Copic Markers to add some details to the moon.
For my third card, I used the adorable The Clauses Etched Die Set. I used the same process as above (die cutting each piece from white card stock and using Copic Markers to color them). I placed them on a simple ink blended background of Simon Says Stamp Tidepool Ink and stamped my sentiment prior to attaching them with 3D foam adhesive tape.
Thanks so much for dropping by! I hope you check out this amazing collection!

OMG, Rachel, your cards look absolutely amazing! Your coloring is perfect. It does not look like a die cuts at all! I wish I could color with makers from half as you can :-). Amazing artwork!
You are so sweet, Olivka; thank you so much for your kind comments! So happy you like them! 🤗
Fantastic cards, Rachel! I totally agree with Olivka’s comment! Wish I had an inkling of your talent!
