Hello friends! I have three cards to quickly share with you today featuring the first three days of this year’s Spellbinders Craft-O-Ween Advent Calendar. A few weeks ago, I shared a post with you showcasing the outer box (which quickly sold out), and now I get to show you what’s inside!

For Day 1, I used the Dracula die set and combined it with the grass die from the Bunch of Borders Etched Die Set. I first die cut all of my Dracula pieces from white card stock and colored them with Copic markers to give each piece more depth and shading. For my background, I masked off an area for my moon by die cutting some masking paper with a large circle die and adhering it to my 4.25″ x 5.5″ card base. Next, I blended around my moon with some Lost Shadow, Hickory Smoke, and Black Soot Distress Inks. I started by blending my lighter ink colors around the moon and then moving outward with my darker colors to create a faux glow. Before removing my circular masking paper, I also added some spatters of diluted Copic Opaque White Paint. After removing my masking piece, I then colored my moon with 0, C00, C1, and C3 Copic Markers.

For Day 2, I also die cut my image pieces from white card stock and colored them with Copic Markers. This time, for my background, I blended a mix of Villainous Potion, Wilted Violet, and Milled Lavender Distress Inks. For my grassy section, I simply trimmed the top of strip of black card stock with some scissors.

For Day 3 of the calendar, I once again die cut and colored my images in the same manner as my first two cards. I also used the grass die again that I had used in card #1. For my spooky background, I blended a mix of Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, and Black Soot Distress Inks.
