Hello crafty friends! It’s been awhile since I’ve posted since I’ve been on an extended vacation with my family. I’m excited to be back and share with you the brand new Summer Camp Collection from Spellbinders designed by Allison Frazier.

I used to go camping a lot when I was younger, so I had a lot of fun reminiscing when I created my cards. I absolutely love this collection and I think that you will too!

My first card showcases a sweet little deer from the Woodland Trio Etched Dies along with a fishing pole/fish from the Splash Days Etched Dies Set. I also used the new Lakeside Memories Layered Stencil Set to create a fun and easy background with some ink blending.

I love the little swimsuit that you can dress any of the critters in. These sets all coordinate together perfectly. For my sentiment, I used the Summertime Sentiments Clear Stamp Set and stamped it in the top right corner with black ink.

My second card showcases a fun little raccoon hanging out by his campfire for the night. I combined the Trailside Trio Etched Dies (raccoon) with the Camp Days (fire) and Trails End (tree) Etched Die Sets.

I used ink blending to create my night sky as well as fire glow. For my background, I used a blend of Mustard Seed, Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Uncharted Mariner, and Black Soot Distress Inks. For my stars, I used a small round paint brush to spatter some diluted Copic Opaque White Paint. Once that was dry, I added some sparkly stars using a white gel pen.
I also added a glow to my ground area by using Mustard Seed, Walnut Stain, and Scorched Timber Distress Inks on a strip of smooth white card stock that I die cut and adhered to my card base. I used the same sentiment set as my first card and heat embossed it with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder onto a strip of black card stock.

For my third and final card, I combined the boat and lifejacket from the Splash Days Die Set and the cute little squirrel from the Woodland Trio Etched Dies Set. To create my ocean waves, I blended a mix of Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks on a separate piece of smooth white card stock and then die cut the top of it with the wavy die from the Landscape Edges Etched Dies.

I used some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for my sky and adhered my ocean waves and images with 3D foam adhesive tape for a pop of dimension.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by! I encourage you to check out this adorable collection!
Hugs!
