Hello friends! I am thrilled to introduce to you the Under the Sea Release from Waffle Flower Crafts! It’s filled with so many gorgeous new dies, stamps, and stencils. I made a bunch of cards featuring a number of products. I’m sharing two on my post today, but scroll down to the video at the bottom of this post to get a sneak peek of the other projects that I made.

My first card showcases the new Happy Turtles Die combined with the Seafloor Silhouettes Die and previously released Happy Waves Panel Die. I created an ink-blended background of Tumbled Glass, Salvaged Patina Wilted Violet, and Villainous Potion Distress Inks and spattered it with some water to give it the illusion of bubbles.

For my greens (pieces of turtle and foliage), I die cut them from light green card stock and added some shading with some Rustic Wilderness and Ground Espresso Distress Inks. For the shells, I die cut them from smooth white card stock and colored them with some light brown Copic Markers (E41, E42, E43, E44).

I used the same ink combo for my background in my second card. However, this time, I created a slimline card using the gorgeous Slimline Window Trio Die. I also used Copic Markers on both of my turtles, using a mix of light browns and greens.

Copic Colors Used:

• Greens: G40, G43, G46, G99
• Browns: E41, E42, E43, E44

I also added some different foliage using the new Coral Reef Die and a piece of coral from the new Under the Sea Die. I also added some silhouettes of fish and turtles in the background using the Under the Sea Background Stencil and Uncharted Mariner Distress Ink.
