Simon Says Stamp | Always There Release Instagram Hop

I made another card showcasing the adorable Fable Birdie Wafer Dies. This time, I combined them with the new Lettered Oh Happy Day Stamp Set and A2 Notched Rectangle Dies. To start my card, I trimmed a 4.25″ x 5.5″ piece of blue card stock for my card base. I then trimmed a slightly smaller white piece of card stock at 4″ x 5.25″ and used my MISTI to stamp a pattern of foliage around an outline of a notched rectangle that I had drawn with pencil using one of the new A2 Notched Rectangle Dies. I alternated my colors in a rainbow pattern and would simply rotate my card stock 180 degrees each time I changed colors and stamp the mirror image again on the opposite side. This helped to keep my stamped images symmetrical. All the ink colors I used are listed in the product section at the bottom of this post.

For my little chicks, I die cut them from some Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and then colored them with Copic Markers. Lastly, I fussy cut my letters out with a pair of scissors and adhered everything to the front of my card with 3D foam adhesive tape for added dimension.
