Waffle Flower Crafts | Through the Window Cozy Card

Hello crafty friends! I have a cozy-scene card to share with you today that features products from the new Waffle Flower Crafts “Through the Window” release. All of my images were die cut from colored cardstock and ink blended with Distress Ink for added shading.

This release is full of so many gorgeous new products! To start my card, I trimmed a piece of Spellbinders ColorWheel Breeze Cardstock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and ran it though my die cutting machine with the new Brick Wall Texture Die. I then used my ink blending brushes to lightly add some Broken China Distress Ink to the textured brick areas. I then set this piece aside and used the new Postage Collage Window Die to die cut some window frames from white card stock. I picked one frame that measured 1.5″ wide x 1 7/8″ tall and trimmed a piece of smooth white cardstock (cutting it to the same size as the frame) to layer it with. Before layering the pieces, I blended the small rectangular piece of white card stock with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.

I then trimmed a piece of light brown card stock to 4.25″ wide x 1.75″ tall and ran it though my die cutting machine using the bottom portion of the A2 Piercing Sunburst Texture Die to create a faux wooden floor. I added this piece to my brick wall card base and then also added a strip of white card stock to resemble a white baseboard. Next, I glued the window I had created to the middle section of the card.

Next, I used the newly released Postage Collage Window Add-ons and Windowsill Plants Dies to die cut some cute little plants and curtain to add to my design. I also added some plants from the previously released Shelves Additions and Floral Shelf Die Sets as well as my sentiment from the new Window Sentiments Stamp Set to the top left section of my card.
