Textured Floral Card Ideas – Simon Says Stamp Every Happiness Release Blog Hop Day 2

July 25, 2026

Hello crafty friends! Thanks so much for joining me on day 2 of this fun, inspirational hop to celebrate the Every Happiness Release from Simon Says Stamp! Get this beautiful stamp set (shown below) FREE with any purchase you make from the Every Happiness Collection!

I have two cards to share with you featuring the new Daisy Frame product suite. For both cards, I used the Daisy Frame Stamp and Stencil sets. I did not have the coordinating dies, so I fussy cut my images with a sharp pair of scissors, but I have linked the coordinating dies in my product list at the bottom of this post for any who are interested.

To start, I first stamped my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then used the coordinating stencils to add color to my images. I made sure to use large blending brushes so that I didn’t add too much pressure to my ink blending and only had a minimal amount of coverage so that the color was not too saturated.

  • Pinks: Bubblegum, Sweets
  • Greens: Cabbage, Field
  • Yellow: Zest Ink
  • ** For the very dark green sections on the leaves, I used a dark green (G28) Copic marker. **

Once I was done fussy cutting my images, I set them aside to work on my card backgrounds. For my darker pink/purple card, I used a 4.25″ x 5.5″ piece of Spellbinders Mulberry Card Stock and heat embossed sections of the same florals I used on my card with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder. I then stamped my sentiment on a small piece of white card stock that I attached to the center of my card. Lastly, I adhere my floral images with 3D foam adhesive tape to frame my sentiment.

I used the same process and colors to stamp and color my florals for my second card. For my card base, I used a 4.25″ x 5.5″ piece of light pink card stock and die cut the center of it with a basic oval die. Next, I ran this piece (the pink card stock with the oval window) through my die cutting machine using the newly released Flower Medley Embossing Folder to get some beautiful 3D textured flowers. To give the flowers some highlights, I lightly rubbed over them with a white ink pad. I did this step twice, allowing the ink to dry in between applications.

I then stamped my sentiment in the center of a 4.25″ x 5.5″ piece of white card stock and layered this piece with my embossed piece so that the sentiment peeked through the oval window in the front of the card. Lastly, I once again added my florals using 3D foam tape for added dimension.

Oh my goodness your cards are absolutely stunning. I love the colors you chose to use, they just made the flowers POP off of the cards. You used the same stamp set for both cards yet they each one look completely different from the other, this is something I am always pleased to see done, because it helps to showcase different ways to stretch our crafting products. Your choice to use the new Flower Medley embossing folder was the perfect background for your Daisy focal image. BEAUTIFUL cards !! FYI, your fussy cutting skills are top notch, you nailed it.
