Hello crafty friends! I have four Christmas shaker cards to share with you today that feature some new (and previously released) products from Pink & Main. How cute are these little Christmas critters inside their festive wreaths?
To start my projects, I first stamped images from the new Merry Wreaths Stamp Set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I then used Copic Markers to color them and the coordinating Merry Wreaths Dies to cut them out.
I set my die cut images aside and went to work on my shaker tags. For each shaker tag, I used the previously released Shaker Tag Dies to die cut the following:
- 1 base from white card stock
- 1 stitched rectangular piece from white card stock (I simply used one of the negative pieces from the white frames I had cut)
- 4 frame pieces from 100lb white card stock
- 1 base piece from clear acetate
- 1 top frame piece from colored card stock
I also assembled all of my pieces in the order listed above. I made sure to use liquid adhesive when gluing the frames, base pieces, and acetate together so that none of the chunky glitter escaped.
For each stitched rectangular piece, I lightly blended them with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide (except for the red tag with the penguin, in which I didn’t add any ink blending). I also added a little bit of Uncharted Mariner on the blended piece inside the reindeer tag for more contrast.
Prior to adhering my acetate pieces, I glued the ink-blended stitched rectangle pieces to the base of the tag in the center of the dimensional frames. I then added some Pink & Main Snow Drift Chunky White Glitter to each tag.
Lastly, I added my images with foam adhesive tape to the front of each tag and also added some holly and berries that I had die cut using the new Cozy Mug Add-on Dies.
